I’m passionate about the development of new works, especially stories written by women and BIPOC-identifying artists. My hope is for more inclusive and diverse storytelling in the future of theater. Being of Filipinx mixed race, I find it difficult to feel authentically seen/represented in the traditional theater canon. I’d like to collaborate and help artists who also seek to change the theater landscape for the better of all.

I seek to tell stories that will uplift my Filipinx mixed identity as well as respect and honor the identities of others.

I have been working in the new works space almost 10 years now. Past demo recordings and experience is available upon request. Most often, I help out by:

Recording demos
Participating in informal table reads
Performing in formal staged readings

My goal is to help writers get their piece to the next level and share it with the world because I think that our theater industry needs more unique and diverse voices. This comes from my personal experience of being mixed race and often finding it difficult to feel authentically seen in the traditional theater canon.
